INFORMATION ABOUT BOOKING THE HALL IN PICKIE BOWLING CLUB

​

Thinking about having a party?  A birthday, an engagement, a wedding reception, perhaps?  Or need somewhere to give a presentation? Then why not check the availability of our large, well equipped Function Room for that occasion ?  

 

The room has a portable stage, laser and party lighting, a well equipped kitchen, lightweight easy to manage tables and chairs and a modern well stocked bar in another room.   This venue has been used extensively for all sorts of parties and wedding receptions and the feedback we have received regarding the facilities is extremely good. 

It is advisable to book early as this venue is extremely popular. 

 

We can apply for a late licence for your event providing adequate notice is given during your booking meeting.

 

A committee member will be acting as a club representative / liaison during your function.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE AWARE OF:

​

It must be highlighted at this stage that under Northern Ireland law all children under the age of 18 years old must vacate the premises by 22.00 hrs.

​

We regret that we do NOT cater for any birthdays under 30 years old.

 

TABLE LAYOUT:

​

You set up the room and this allows you to design and tailor the table layout to suit your special event.  Tables and chairs are cleared away by PBC staff and the room cleaned the next day. 
NOTE:  special consideration must be given to all health and safety regulations and other regulations that relate to Northern Ireland Safety Laws.  These rules must be respected when designing your table layout and will be covered in person by our club representative.  They are also detailed in the Function Pack you will receive at the time of booking.

Seated at tables – Maximum - 100

ROOM COSTS FOR ONE EVENING FUNCTION:

 

The current cost to use the hall for one evening is listed below.

​

Main Hall for one evening ............................. £100.00

​

Full payment is required at the time of booking.  This will be refunded if a cancellation is received at least 2 weeks before the booking date.  If there is a NO SHOW without notice you will lose 50% of the total charge.

​

NOTE:  the fee charged by Pickie Bowling Club (PBC) for private functions held by visitors and groups is levied to cover the expenses incurred by the club for hosting private functions.
